Marco Pask

At Compare the Market, I worked across a broad range of digital experiences, helping bring the brand to life through website design, landing pages, email campaigns and digital content. From developing concepts in Figma to collaborating with UX, marketing, content and development teams, I played a key role in shaping ideas and taking them through to final approval.

Google Display Banner Designs

The challenge was creating a flexible banner system that could maintain a consistent visual identity across a range of Google Display formats. I developed the layouts in Figma, ensuring the core messaging, character imagery and CTA remained consistent while adapting the composition for each format. Alongside the design work, I helped introduce the team to Figma, providing hands-on demonstrations and 1-to-1 mentoring to support junior designers in adopting a more efficient, scalable workflow.

Refreshed rewards creative

I identified a challenge within the business, we had several different creative routes being used to show the rewards creativity (a major USP of Compare the market), but there wasn’t a clear enough direction tying them together. The challenge was to create a more consistent creative approach that could work across the different digital touch points, from the app through to the website.

Email design campaigns

These are two good examples of the kind of regular email campaigns I’d design. One focuses on seasonal opportunities, encouraging people to take out insurance for things like their bikes or home. The other uses email to highlight a price increase in people’s bills, making what could be a fairly dry message feel more engaging and easy to understand.

A New Digital Experience for Compare the Market

A more playful, intuitive way to compare online.

Designed in Figma, the concept reimagined Compare the Market’s digital experience through bold layouts, playful brand elements and a more engaging customer journey. Bringing the vision to life involved close collaboration across multiple departments, balancing creative ambition with UX, content, technical and business requirements through a detailed approval process.
